Early Intervention Program (EIP)
Why us
Early Intervention Program (EIP)
Our Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed for young children (typically aged 1 to 6 years old) who show signs of developmental delays, speech delay, autism, sensory challenges, or behavioral issues.
EIP focuses on building core developmental skills during the most critical years of brain development—when a child’s brain is most adaptable to change and learning.

Helping your child express themselves through words, gestures, and interaction.
Behavior & Emotional Regulation
Teaching your child how to manage emotions, follow routines, and reduce meltdowns.
Social Skills & Play
Guiding your child to interact, share, and play meaningfully with peers.
Fine & Gross Motor Skills
Activities to improve hand control, coordination, walking, jumping, and more.
Sensory Integration
Helping children who are overly sensitive or under-responsive to sounds, textures, lights, or movement.
Parent Support & Coaching
You’re not alone. We guide parents with strategies and emotional support at every step.

Who Should Join EIP?
Your child may benefit from EIP if you notice:
Late talking or not speaking at all
Delayed walking or clumsy movement
Difficulty handling changes or transitions
Difficulty playing with others
Poor eye contact or social interaction
Repetitive behaviors (lining up toys, hand flapping, etc.)

Occupational Therapy
Program
Occupational Therapy (OT)
“Helping Children Do What They Need to Do – Through Play, Movement & Practice”
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps children gain the skills they need for everyday life – from using their hands to eat, write, and dress, to regulating their emotions and paying attention in class.
At Kid Skill Therapy Centre, our pediatric occupational therapists use play-based, engaging activities to help children overcome developmental delays, sensory issues, behavioral challenges, and motor difficulties.
Fine Motor Skills
e.g. Holding a pencil, using scissors, buttoning clothes, feeding independently.
Gross Motor Skills
e.g. Balance, walking, climbing stairs, coordination, postural control.
Sensory Processing
Helping children who are too sensitive (or not responsive) to sound, touch, light, movement, etc.
Self-Regulation & Attention
e.g. Managing emotions, improving focus, reducing hyperactivity or meltdowns.
Daily Living Skills
e.g. Brushing teeth, dressing, feeding, using the toilet — building independence.
Social Skills Through Play
e.g. Taking turns, following rules, eye contact, and managing frustration during group activities.
Our OT Sessions Include:
1-on-1 therapy with certified pediatric occupational therapists
Custom play-based activities for each child’s developmental needs
Parental coaching on how to support at home
Progress tracking and review
Who Needs Occupational Therapy?
Your child may benefit from OT if they:
Have delays in speech, movement, or self-help skills
Are clumsy or uncoordinated
Struggle with daily routines (eating, sleeping, dressing)
Show sensory issues (overreaction to sound, touch, lights)
Have difficulty with attention or behavior (e.g. ADHD, autism)
Experience frequent meltdowns or emotional outbursts

Speech & Language Therapy
Program
Speech & Language Therapy
“Helping Children Communicate Clearly, Confidently & Meaningfully”
Speech & Language Therapy supports children who have difficulty understanding or using language, speaking clearly, expressing their thoughts, or interacting socially.

Child talks late, uses fewer words than expected for their age.
Speech Sound Disorders
Words are unclear (e.g., “tat” instead of “cat”).
Understanding (Receptive Language)
Difficulty following instructions or understanding what others say.
Expressing Ideas (Expressive Language)
Limited vocabulary, short sentences, or struggles to form correct sentences.
Social Communication
Trouble with turn-taking, eye contact, or understanding social cues (especially in autism).

Use of visual aids, games, music, and movement
Regular progress tracking
Signs Your Child May Need Speech Therapy:
Not talking or only uses a few words by age 2–3
Hard to understand, even by family members
Repeats words or stutters
Doesn’t follow simple instructions
Struggles to express needs or emotions
Drooling, difficulty chewing/swallowing, picky eating

Sensory Integration & Behavioural Therapy
Program
What is Sensory Integration Therapy?
“Helping Children Understand, Respond, and Thrive in a Sensory World”
Sensory Integration Therapy is designed to help children who struggle with how their brain processes sensory information—such as sounds, touch, movement, smell, taste, or visual input.
At Kid Skill Therapy Centre, we help children learn how to better respond to everyday sensations so they can feel calm, focused, and ready to learn, play, and socialize.
Some children may be:
Over-sensitive
Easily overwhelmed by loud sounds, touch, textures, lights, or motion.
Under-sensitive
Constantly moving, seeking pressure, or not noticing pain or mess.
Mixed
Struggle with both — e.g., hates certain textures but craves movement.
This can affect their:
Behavior
meltdowns, tantrums, aggression
Learning
poor focus, restlessness
Social skills and emotional regulation
Our Sensory Integration Therapy Includes:
1-on-1 or small groups sessions in a sensory gym environment
Personalized sensory diet and regulation plan
Close observation of sensory triggers
Parent guidance for home and school routines
Progress tracking & regular reviews
Signs Your Child May Need Sensory Therapy:
• Covers ears to sounds others tolerate
• Refuses certain clothing or food textures
• Constantly runs, jumps, or seeks movement
• Gets overwhelmed in crowds or busy places
• Has frequent meltdowns or emotional outbursts
• Avoids messy play or refuses grooming activities
Program
What is Behavioral Therapy?
“Guiding Children Toward Positive Behavior, Confidence & Emotional Control”
Behavioral Therapy helps children learn how to manage their emotions, follow rules, reduce challenging behaviors, and build healthy habits in a safe, supportive way.
At Kid Skill Therapy Centre, our therapists use proven strategies to understand why a behavior is happening—and guide both the child and parents toward more positive responses and daily routines.
Why Do Some Children Struggle with Behavior:
Developmental delay or autism
Sensory overload
Communication difficulties
Poor emotional regulation
Difficulty understanding rules or routines
Inconsistent boundaries or expectations
What We Do in Behavioral Therapy:
Identify the root cause behind the behavior
Use child-friendly strategies (play, visuals, reward charts, games)
Teach self-regulation skills (e.g., calming, breathing, expressing feelings)
Build routines and consistent expectations
Support parents with home strategies and communication tips
Common Issues We Help With:
Tantrums & meltdowns
Defiance & oppositional behavior
Aggression
Anxiety-related behaviors
ADHD-related challenges
Transition difficulties (e.g. starting school)
Program
Your Child May Benefit From Behavioral Therapy If:
Frequent tantrums or meltdowns
Aggressive (hitting, biting, throwing things)
Refuses to follow instructions or routines
Difficulty waiting, sharing, or playing with others
Easily frustrated or emotionally explosive
Has trouble adjusting to new environments or transitions

Consultations & Assessment
Program
Consultations & Assessment
At Kid Skill Therapy Centre, every child’s journey begins with a comprehensive consultation and assessment. We believe that each child is unique, and to provide the right support, we must first understand their strengths, challenges, and developmental needs.
The Flows:
Initial Consultation
Assessment Process
Individualised Report & Recommendations
Parents Involvement
1. Initial Consultation
Parents will meet with our team of therapists (Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Interventionist depending on the child’s needs).
During this session, we gather important information about the child’s developmental history, medical background, learning style, and current concerns.
Parents are encouraged to share observations at home, school, and in social settings so we get a full picture of the child’s daily life.
This session is also a chance for parents to ask questions and understand how therapy works at our centre.
2. Assessment Process
Our therapists carry out standardised assessments, clinical observations, and play-based evaluations to identify the child’s abilities and challenges.
Speech & Language Skills
vocabulary, sentence building, comprehension, articulation
Occupational Skills
fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-help skills
Behaviour & Social Skills
emotional regulation, attention, interaction with peers and adults
Cognitive Skills
problem-solving, memory, focus, and early academic readiness
3. Individualised Report & Recommendations
After the assessment, parents will receive a detailed report highlighting the child’s strengths, areas that need support, and professional recommendations.
Our team will design an individualised therapy plan (ITP) that outlines specific goals and strategies tailored to the child.
If needed, we may recommend multi-disciplinary support (e.g., a combination of speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behaviour intervention).
4. Parents Involvement
We believe parents are key partners in their child’s progress.
During the feedback session, therapists explain results in simple, clear language
They also provide home strategies so parents can support their child’s development outside therapy sessions.
